January 22 – Sanctity of Human Life Sunday

On January 22, 1984, the 11th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, President Ronald Reagan made a proclamation designating that Sunday as the first National Sanctity of Human Life Day. Each year, this day is observed on the Sunday closest to Roe v. Wade’s anniversary. Today human life continues to be devalued around the globe in many ways such as human trafficking, abortion, abuse, pornography, and racism,  This January 22nd we will take a few moments in the morning service to reflect on the value of all lives. God sees every life as precious and so should we!
